Icchak Kacenelson
(1886-1944)
Teacher, poet and playwright, writing in Hebrew and Yiddish. He is the author of the well-known poem "Song about the Murdered Jewish People" He was murdered on the night of April 30 to May 1, 1944 in Auschwitz.
